WHO DO YOU TYPICALLY WORK WITH?
My clientele tends to split 50/50 between working professionals like business owners, physicians, executives, engineers, and their children/families. I understand the difficulties that high functioning, intelligent people experience in balancing a family, relationship, work, and their emotional well-being. I also really enjoy working with teenagers (12+) and young adults trying to figure out who they are and what they would like to become.
CLIENTS WHO LIKE TO WORK WITH ME Generally speaking, the people who seek me out are looking for fulfillment, enjoyment, and connection with others. In the past they may have struggled and never attended a therapy session, perhaps thinking it wasn't a good fit. They enjoy coming to my sessions because they are comfortable and enjoy the experience. I really try to tailor the experience to each person that steps through the door and add humor to my work to lighten things up from time to time.
CLINICAL SPECIALTIES
Mood Disorders, Addiction, Self-esteem, Stress, Young adults, Teens, Men’s issues, Family/Relationship conflict, Grief/loss.
ABOUT ME
I’ve been playing bass guitar for 15 years, and recently started teaching myself guitar. I really try to leave making music to the professionals but that doesn’t stop me from having a half-stack amplifier in my living room. When not playing music, I’m listening to it while reading a pulpy sci-fi book.
Above all else, I love the process of helping people and have really found purpose and meaning in helping others. I'd be glad to answer any questions you might have about myself, my therapy strategies, or what you can expect from the therapy process. I offer free phone consultations if you are interested in learning more about our practice or possibly pursuing counseling services.
Expertise in working with C-Suite Execs, Physicians, Attorneys, Professionals and their Families.
