Pleasure to meet you! Your journey toward well-being and personal growth begins with a dedicated and comprehensive approach to therapy. To achieve meaningful change, I believe in first cultivating an atmosphere of warmth, trust, and unconditional positive regard for my clientele. I approach our time together acknowledging that you are a unique individual with a unique story. When we begin our work together we will spend time identifying the challenges or struggles you are currently dealing with and I will help you gain insight and deeper understanding into these issues. I will listen to you and allow for a treatment direction to develop based on what you feel you need. Clients say that I am compassionate, caring, and knowledgeable. Clients have also expressed that I have the ability to help them see things in a way they had not been able to before, which promotes new understanding beneficial for healing. Despite the negative thoughts and feelings your challenges may be causing you, I see each person as having tremendous strength and ability for healing and change.
SPECIALITY AREAS
Embodying a profound commitment to fostering a compassionate and non-judgmental therapeutic environment, I employ a person-centered and strength-based approach. Drawing upon a wealth of experience, I will assist people in grappling with a spectrum of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, substance use disorders, and relationship difficulties. I also bring expertise in supporting parents as they navigate the unique challenges associated with raising children throughout their development. This might include helping parents deal with concerns related to communication, setting boundaries, and managing relationship conflict. I also have experience in helping parents who are struggling with children with special needs.
BIO AND CREDENTIALS
Aislinn is a dedicated pre-licensed therapist working under Maura Farrell (MSS, LCSW, CAADC). She successfully completed her undergraduate studies in Psychology and Education at Bucknell University, and is concluding her MSW/LSW at Eastern University. Aislinn has expertise working in the field of mental health and substance use disorders. Her time working in community based mental health service system allows her to provide support to individuals and family members. Aislinn has worked in PHP, IOP and GOP levels of care. Aislinn extends her services through both in-person sessions and remote (video) sessions, providing flexible options to cater to individual preferences. For those intrigued by the prospect of exploring therapeutic options or delving deeper into the practice, Aislinn warmly welcomes inquiries through phone calls or emails.
